He called out the continuing hateful rhetoric against ICE as a federal agency and its officers.
Border Czar Tom Homan responded on Monday to the arrest of a man who attempted to conduct an act of domestic terrorism, setting off an incendiary device near a federal building in New York City that houses offices for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and immigration courts. The fire was extinguished before flames reached the building, and the suspect was arrested.
The border czar asked, “Why does he think ICE is bad? Why does he want to attack ICE?”
He highlighted politicians at the federal, state, and local levels who claim “that ICE is not a real law enforcement agency, ICE is separating families, arresting people in churches and hospitals, which none of that is true. So I’m sure he’s been educated by the wrong people, and that’s why he chose to take actions.”
Mr. Homan continued, “President Trump has said a thousand times we will not stand by and let anybody violate the laws. Especially when it comes to domestic terror acts like this or attacks against ICE officers. Attacks against ICE officers are up over 1,400 percent.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Border Czar Homan as he heads efforts to remove criminal illegal aliens from the U.S.
- For God’s protection over ICE officers as they seek to uphold the law and detain criminal migrants.
- For politicians and journalists to respond and report factually and accurately regarding federal immigration enforcement efforts.
